Oriental Fried Noodle Salad
In the mood for something Chinese? Here’s a recipe that I would highly recommend- the Oriental Fried Noodle Salad. Let’s face it; having noodles again and again in the same old way can get a bit boring after a while. This salad shakes up things a little, and gives you a dish that you won’t be able to forget easily. I have paired up fried noodles with cabbage (patta gobhi) and slivered nuts which underscore the crunchiness of the salad. For the dressing, white vinegar (red wine vinegar can also be used) and sesame oil has been used. The addition of soy sauce gives the dish an Oriental kick. The savoury flavour of this condiment is well-balanced by the mild sweetness of castor sugar. Oriental Fried Noodle Salad is one of the easiest and fastest salads to prepare. The variety of textures makes it a perfect accompaniment for many a dish.
