Ingredients: |

Baby Potatoes | 300 gram |
Vegetable Oil | for frying |
Onion cut in cubes | 1 medium |
Capsicum cut in cubed | 1 medium |
Garlic finely chopped | 5-6 cloves |
Red chilli flakes | 1 tea spoon |
Black pepper | 1 tea spoon |
Chilli sauce | 1 table spoon |
Soy sauce | ½ tea spoon |
Honey | 1 table spoon |
Sesame seeds | 2 table spoon |
Salt | to taste |
Corn starch | 2-3 table spoon |
All purpose flour | 2-3 table spoon |
Method
- 1. Wash and peel baby potatoes. Heat water and par boil pototes and immediately drain hot water. (Boil the potatoes for approximately 3-4 minutes only).
- 2. Now transfer these potatoes in chilled water and leave it for 2 hours in fridge.
- 3. After 2 hour drain out the water and completely dry the potatoes.
- 4. In a bowl mix corn flour and all purpose flour, add water and prepare a dilute batter.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan.
- 6. Dip the potatoes in batter and deep fry till becomes golden. Keep aside.
To proceed
- 1. In a pan heat oil, and add garlic paste, onions and sauté on high heat for 1 minute. Add capsicum and stir it for 2-3 minutes.
- 2. Mix honey, soya sauce, chilli sauce, chilli flakes, black pepper and salt in a bowl.
- 3. Add this mixture to onion and stir it. Add deep fried potatoes and sesame seeds.
- 4. Mix everything on high flame and serve hot.
