Fish pieces (machli), take small fish to avoid fat | 4 |
Vegetable Oil | 2 table spoon |
Ginger (adark) chopped | 3 tea spoon |
Garlic (lahsan) chopped | 3 tea spoon |
 Green chillies(hari mirch) chopped | 2 |
Onion (pyaaz) grated | 1 big |
 Red chilli powder ( lal mirch) | 1 ½ tea spoon |
Soy Sauce | 3 tea spoon |
Tomato sauce (tamater sauce) | 2 table spoon |
Black pepper   (kali mirch) | ½ tea spoon |
Salt (namak) | to taste |
Water | 1 cup |
Coriander leaves (hara dhaniya) chopped | 2 table spoon |
Method
- 1. Rub salt and turmeric on fish pieces and grill it in microwave for 5-7 minutes and keep aside.
- 2. Pour oil in a heated pan and add chopped ginger and garlic.
- 3. When it turns brown add green chillies. Sauté for a minute and then add grated onions.
- 4. Sauté till onion turns brown now add chilli powder and salt.
- 5. Mix well and then add soy sauce and tomato sauce. Then add cup of water.
- 6. When it starts boiling keep fish on top of the sauce.
- 7. Close the lid and cook it in medium flame for about 5 minutes one side and turn fish (carefully, it will break) and cook for another 5 more minutes.
- 8. Sprinkle black pepper on the fish after couple of minutes put off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
