Home remedies
Anaemia: Everyday take a dose of 1 tea spoon of turmeric juice mixed with honey, twice a day is good medicine for Anaemia.
Asthma: Boil 1 cup of milk with 1 tea spoon of turmeric powder. Drink warm.
Burns: Mix 1 tea spoon of turmeric with 1 tea spoon of aloe gel and apply to burnt area.
Dental problems: Mix 1 tea spoon of turmeric with ½ tea spoon of salt. Add mustard oil to make a paste. Rub the teeth and gums with this paste twice daily.
Cough and Cold: Half tea spoon of turmeric powder, mixed in 30 ml of warm milk is very effective in cough and cold.
Sprain: For treating sprains or swellings caused by sprains, turmeric paste mixed with lime and salt can be applied with beneficial result.
Skin disorder: Turmeric is very effective in the treatment of skin diseases like ringworm and scabies.
