Chicken Stuffed Egg Recipe
Chicken Stuffed Egg can be considered as twisted omelette. Here, omelette is stuffed with delicious chicken.
Omelette is prepared with beaten egg, and stuffed with a tasty filling. The filling can be made out of anything like mushrooms, cottage cheese (Paneer), mixed vegetables etc. In this recipe, I have used chicken as filling, as egg and chicken used together raise the quality of the dish. Chicken is cooked with different spices and capsicum for added flavour.
Two beaten eggs were combined with a dash of spices for the roll. Ideally, two eggs are used to prepare one roll. This egg mixture is poured onto a hot frying pan, dabbed with some butter. The pan should be moved slowly to allow the mixture to spread out evenly. After cooking the egg roll, some filling is stuffed in the centre, complete with dressing. Hot sauce and chutney is used for the dressing.

How to make Chicken Stuffed Egg

For roll |

Eggs (anda) | 4 |
Salt (namak) | to taste |
Black pepper (kali mirch) | to taste |
Red chilli (lal mirch) powder | ¼ tea spoon |
Onion (payaz) grated | 3 table spoon |
Garlic (lahsan) crushed | 1 tea spoon |
Butter | 2 table spoon |
For stuffing |

Boiled chicken, cut into small pieces | ½ cup |
Capsicum (shimla), chopped | ¼ cup |
Onion (payaz), thinly slices in rings | ¼ cup |
Garlic (lahsan), crushed | ¼ tea spoon |
Red chilli (lal mirch) powder | ¼ tea spoon |
Hot spices (garam masala) | ¼ tea spoon |
Vinegar (sirka) | 1 table spoon |
Red chilli sauce | ½ tea spoon |
Green chutney | 1 tea spoon |
Salt | to taste |
Vegetable oil | 1 table spoon |
Method
For Stuffing
- 1. Heat oil in a wok, add chopped onion and garlic and stir it for 5-7 minutes.
- 2. Now add red chilli and stir it for further 2 minutes.
- 3. Now add the boiled chicken and salt and mix them well. Let it cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes.
- 4. Now add chopped capsicum and let it cook for 5-7 minutes more.
- 5. Adjust the salt and add hot spices and vinegar to taste and stir it well.
- 6. Once done keep it aside.
For Roll
- 1. Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper. Beat well with a fork.
- 2. Now add grated onion, garlic and red chilli powder and mix it with egg.
- 3. Put a small frying pan on a low heat and let it get hot. Add little butter.
- 4. When the butter has melted and is bubbling, add eggs and move the pan around to spread them out evenly.
- 5. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
- 6. Once the egg is cooked put 4 table spoon of stuffing in center.
- 7. Now add 1 tea spoon of red chilli sauce and 1 tea spoon of green chutney, and roll the egg.
- 8. Serve Chicken stuffed Egg with sauce.
