Ingredients
Mushroom | 250 gram |
Garlic (lahsan) | 4-5 cloves |
Ginger (adrakh) | 1” piece |
Onion (payaz) | 1 medium |
Almond (badam), soaked | 1/4 cup |
Mustard oil (sarso ka tel) | 3 table spoon |
Curd (Dahi) | 2 table spoon |
Turmeric (haldi) powder | 1/4 tea spoon |
Black pepper (kali mirch) | 1/2 tea spoon |
Red chilli (lal mirch) powder | 1 tea spoon |
Salt | to taste |
Method
For spice paste
- 1. Heat mustard oil in a pan and deep fry onions till they turn golden brown in colour.
- 2. Remove it from flame and drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
- 3. Transfer onions in a blender jar, add almonds, garlic and ginger and blend it to a smooth paste.
- 4. Mix curd to this mixture and keep aside.
How to proceed
- 1. Clean and wash mushrooms. Rub it properly with a cotton cloth and keep aside.
- 2. Take little oil in tawa, add mushrooms fry them and keep aside.
- 3. Heat the oil in same tawa, add the prepared spices paste mixture along with turmeric, chilli powder, black pepper and salt and cook on a slow flame in the center of tawa.
- 4. Add fried mushrooms to this spice mixture and stir-fry, until they blend with the paste and turn brown.
- 5. Serve the "Spicy Tawa Mushroom" hot with Nan.
